Foscari Palace - Venice

Perfect and quiet location. Rooms were very spacious and equipped with air conditioning - a must in summer! . Breakfast was varied and very tasty (fresh fruit salad, warm croissants, fresh pastries). Also in the surroundings there are nice restaurants where you can also enjoy a drink in the evening.

Every wish is fulfilled.

The location is directly on the Canale de Grande. Have received a room upgrade directly on the Canal.

The bathrooms could really use an update due to aging fixtures!!! The breakfast area needs more seating to accommodate guests, especially during peak hours!!!

The bathroom and sanitary facilities in our room were very in need of renovation. So the furniture in the bathroom was swollen on by moisture. The washbasin and shower drain works very poorly. The toilet flush was temporarily not in operation. Too bad

Good staff, clean hotel, clean room. Very central location along with very very good and excellent breakfasts. Great area and excellent views. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a high ceiling, 2 big windows, and a lounge in the room. Hot drinks and croissants, cereal, and fruit. Fantastic service and quiet ambiance. Not to mention free Wi-Fi...

Just a good pick for a city escape in Venice with good value. The staff here is great, especially at breakfast where they quickly replaced our plates. Make sure to inquire about any special activities during your stay.

It had favourable and stunning location with access to a landmark bridge nearby.

This is a beautiful hotel, the room was very nicely decorated. The roof terrace with a spectaculair view on the grand canal is unforgettable, excellent location, easy to get there from the airport. A vaporettostop quite nearby. At the reception they are very friendly and speak english, for italian standards, quite well. They allowd us to move the date without costs due to the Iceland vulcano interruption and all the problems with the airplanes.

The size of the bed is ok, we asked for two beds but got one big bed instead. We did't complain because the room was very nice with balcony and view on the grande canal. The mattress however was so very hard, as always in Italy, this time the pillow was as uncomfortable as the bed. My advice take your own pillow with you. The bathroom is very small and when you take a shower you end up in a swimming pool.

This is an excellent small well-appointed hotel in a central location on Venice's Grand Canal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Foscari Palance and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. The hotel was wonderful - the view over the Grand Canal was fantastic, the room was huge and very nice (we stayed in Junior suite at the 2nd floor). If you book a room with a canal view, please, note that it can be quite noisy in the morning due to navigation. As for location, the hotel is 15 minutes walk from San Marco, and just 1 minute walk from the nearest vaporetto station (Ca d'Oro). There are also a few nice restaurants nearby - not very expensive and the food is nice.

There are no laundry services in the hotel.
